Cajun Chicken and Sausage Gumbo

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
This was GREAT! I made it exactly as is except for adding a few jalapeƱos. It took me longer than 10min to get the roux to chocolate milk color but I probably had my temp a little lower just because I was paranoid about burning. I kept a constant stir going and it turned out perfect. Use a LONG wooden spoon or whisk. Some of the roux splashed up on my hand for just a split second and I have some pretty cool battle scars to show for it today. :) I'm sure most of you are more careful than me though. Thank you for the recipe!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Great easy recipe. My wife loved it and asked what I did this time because it was so much better than usual. I fessed up. :) The only change I made was to add a beer at the beginning to cut the thickness a bit.

Chocolate Chip Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2003
Just made this for Christmas. Most people reviewing this recipe said it was "sinful", everyone at my table said it was "ridiculous." It is wonderful in small amounts. This is not an everyday dessert because it is soooo rich but it is very, very good. It was gone before the pumpkin and pecan pie. Thanks for the recipe.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Very good recipe. I used no-boil lasagna noodles and it worked fine. I will use an 8x8 from now on like the other reviewers said. Thanks Caroline.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

This is a great recipe with in the cupboard ingredients. I marinated half of it for 4 hours and it was pretty good. The other half I marinated for 24 hours and it was wonderful.
