I enjoy grocery shopping. Recently, I have tried to use more coupons when I shop. The Sunday paper and Ebay have become my sources for coupons.
I am by no means an extreme couponer, and I still have a hard time understanding how it is even possible to leave a grocery store with a $500.00 order and a $3.00 payment.
I try to purchase only what I need. These items may or may not have a coupon associated them.
When I use coupons, I like to find the ones that only require you to purchase one item and have a value of $.75.
These will usually double. In my area, stores will only double coupons up to $.99.
I have been averaging about $20 to $25 in savings on a $150 order.
I also pay attention to the store’s sale items.
