Zucchini Cream Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2004
I give this 5 stars because my family really likes it. It's a great way to use up some of the extra zucchini from my garden, but it's VERY sweet. I recommend cutting back on the sugar.

Mom's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2004
Really needs the tomato for some added color. other wise it was a really nice salad. And it's best if you let it sit in the refridgerator for a couple of hours before serving. I will make this again.

Was it just me, or was this WAY to peppery?? My daughter and I were unable to eat the meat because of how spicy this was! I will NOT make this again!!!

Easy Stroganoff

I thought this was very bland! I liked how easy it was to make but with no flavor I won't make it again.

Almond Mandarin Salad

Reviewed: May 19, 2004
This was wonderful! I was unable to find dry hot mustard in the stores so I just used regular dry mustard and it still turned out great. The recipe say's it will serve 8 but my salad was wiped clean from the bowl with 6 people. I will make this again, and pass the recipe on to my friends and family who asked for it.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: May 1, 2004
My family really liked this. I only had a couple of problems. Half a pound of bacon is not enough. And an 8oz. can of Pineapple chunks isn't enough. I would suggest 1 pound of bacon and maybe 2, 8oz cans of pineapple. And a few more mushrooms would have been good also.

Cajun Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2004
I would like to warn other people thinking about making this, that you will have some flamage when putting this on the grill! So be prepared! I didn't think it was to bad, it turned out very moist. But my daughter wouldn't eat it because of the color!

Mostaccioli Mosta

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2004
Instead of adding the cheese and then placing it under the broiler I did as some of the other reviews suggested and just sprinkled the cheese on top and let the heat from the food melt the cheese. This was truley wonderful. My whole family loved this and can't wait for me to make it again.

White Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2004
If you've ever had creamed beef, this is exactly the same thing only with a smoky flavor. I thought it was a little to thick. My 5 year old daughter wouldn't eat it, and I didn't care for it much either. My husband ate just about all of it so I'll give it 3 stars. I won't make this again.

Chinese Roast Chicken with Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2003
I'm going to be honest. The chicken tasted great! But that gravy is the worst food item i've ever tasted!! It is way to salty!! I'll make the chicken again, but will leave out the gravy.

Kung Pao Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2003
This recipe is VERY hot. I can usually eat this in restaurants, but this recipe is 10 times hotter and I even halved the chili paste like suggested. This is the first recipe I've made that was to hot for even my husband. I will not make this again. I don't think this was meant for human consumption!

Finnish Pulla

I personaly was not happy with the result. It has a great taste, but I don't think all the work is worth it. I probably wont make this again. It also browns to fast. I would think about turning down the heat to maybe 375 degrees

Simple to make. Takes a little time, but is fun to do. I will make this again, especially since I know now the right size jar to use! 1/2 pint is the perfect gift giving size.
