Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Me and hubby both loved this salad. I added julienne carrots and sugar snap peas. As recommended, cut the oil to 1/3 cup and it was plenty. Also used light olive oil instead of veggie oil. Very nice recipe!

Foil-Baked Chicken

Surprisingly mild flavor even after marinating for 20 hours, but we really enjoyed this chicken. Way too much cornstarch...definitely cut the amount in half at least. I'd probably add something to give it a little bit of heat next time...a bit of red pepper flakes should do the trick, but there WILL be a next time. Thanks!

Banana Cake VI

Awesome banana cake! Except for using half white sugar and half brown sugar, I followed the directions exactly -- including the unusual baking/freezing method. My cake turned out light, super moist, and very flavorful. Not at all like banana bread, except in flavor. This was definitely a "cake." Only used 2 cups of powdered sugar in the icing...that is plenty for the perfect amount of sweetness. Thanks for a great recipe!

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

So very good. Added some cumin, but otherwise stuck to the recipe (even using the full 5 ounces of hot sauce). Wonderful flavor and not too spicy at all -- just right for us.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Cranberry Orange Breakfast Bread

Yummy bread. I'm new to bread-baking and don't own a bread machine, so I had to wing this recipe. Warmed up half the orange juice, added a tbs of sugar and proofed the yeast on that for 5 minutes. Then added the rest of the ingredients and let my kitchen aid knead the dough for 10 minutes. Doubled the walnuts and soaked the craisins overnight in orange juice. Because of the extra moisture the dough was very sticky, but I added a little extra flour and it was great. Rose beautifully and has an awesome flavor. Wonderful toasted with butter.

Clone of a Cinnabon

OMG these are so good (eating one atm). Have never made cinnamon rolls before and these turned out perfect. I did double the filling because the "goop" is the best part, and used part light brown sugar and part dark brown sugar. I don't have a bread machine, so I followed other suggestions for making them in my kitchen aid. Super easy. Rolled and cut them and put them in a glass baking dish in the fridge overnight. Pulled them out in the morning 30 minutes before baking and baked for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Whooooo!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Awesome chocolate chip cookie. Better than the two top rated recipes from this site. Only thing I did was add 1 full tsp of salt rather than a 1/2. Had to bake each batch for 14 minutes and the recipe made 4 dozen cookies for me and I kept picking at the dough because the flavor is excellent. Gotta love all that buttah! :) Edit: Made again and added an entire bag of semi-sweet chips and an entire bag of milk chocolate chips. >_> Wonderful!

Poppy Seed Onion Bread

This was the first time I ever made bread and it's awesome! I can't get my son to stop eating it. I don't have a bread machine, so made the dough in my Kitchenaid mixer. Also didn't have onion powder, so I used garlic powder instead, otherwise followed the directions. Never knew making bread was so easy. Thanks for a great recipe! Edit: Have made this bread about 10 times now, we just love it that much. It turns out great every time, even when I forget to add the butter (which happens about 50% of the time!). :)

So good and so simple. Much better flavor than that canned junk. Left out green pepper simply because I didn't have any on hand. Served on soft, toasted onion rolls. Will definitely make this on a regular basis.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Finally a peanut butter cookie that is "peanutbuttery" enough for me! I'm really enjoying these cookies for that reason alone. My only issue is that the sugar didn't dissolve completely for me, so I got a slight crystal crunch similar to when you mess up fudge. Not sure how to avoid that with this recipe, but it was very slight, so not something I'm overly concerned with. Thanks for a really nice, unusual cookie recipe!

Cheesy Italian Pull Apart Bread

These are really good. I did use frozen bread dough balls, though, instead of biscuits. They were soft, fluffy, and flavorful. Thanks for a great idea!

Super-Simple, Super-Spicy Mongolian Beef

Yumm-o! Made 2 1/2 times the sauce, doubled the meat, and added red peppers and broccoli (gotta have my veggies). Did not double the red pepper flakes. 1 TBS was perfect heat with the amount of sauce I made. Added a little cornstarch towards the end to thicken up the sauce. Served with white rice. This is so good I can't stop eating it.

David's Yellow Cake

Followed recipe exactly and really enjoyed this cake. It's dense and moist, but not too heavy. Excellent flavor. I baked it in a 9x13 pan and topped it with a nice fudge icing. Very decadent.
