Basic Pizza Crust

Paula's Bread Sticks

We loved this - omitted the sesame seeds and brushed butter on top just out of the oven and sprinkled with fairy dust (4 parts dry Parmesan cheese, 3 parts garlic powder, 2 parts onion powder, 1 part oregano). Tasted just like the Olive Garden bread sticks. A definite keeper. Thank you!

Crusty French Bread

This bread is really easy to put together and my family really loved it. I substituted 1 cup of whole wheat flour for 1 cup of the flour and used 2 cups of bread flour for the remainder of the flour. It has a very nice appearance and is soft on the inside with a nice outer crust that it's too hard. Thank you for the recipe!

Baked Sweet Potatoes

I really enjoyed this. It's a really nice change from the usual sugared sweet potato dishes. I have tried it with both oregano and rosemary. I prefer the oregano best. Thank you for the super recipe!

My-Hop Pancakes

We like these very much, but they were too lumpy. I should have stirred them up a bit more. I'll try them again. They were really limp compared to pancakes made with a box mix.

Cranberry Nut Bread II

This was totally awesome! I used 1 cup of whole wheat flour in place of 1 of the 2 cups of AP flour. I also used 1/2 cup zero calorie sweetner in place of 1/2 of the 1 cup white sugar. Instead of a loaf pan, placed the batter in mini muffin pans and made 48 mini muffins. After baking about 30 minutes, I placed cling wrap over them while they cooled. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!

Crustless Cranberry Pie

This was very good - I made a few changes to lighten it up and they worked: I used just 2 T butter and substituted the remainder of the butter with applesauce. I also substituted 1/2 cup of sweetener for 1/2 of the sugar. I only had 12 oz of cranberries, but I think this could have used more like the recipe calls for. Thank you for posting!

Whipped Sweet Potato Casserole

It was good - I put in too much orange juice though. A little orange juice goes a long way in this recipe. I used big marshmallows cut in half, and they didn't work well. It's best to use the mini marshmallows. Thank you for the recipe!

Make Ahead Manicotti

I absolutely loved this recipe! How easy to make ahead and throw in the oven later for an easy dinner. I don't think I'll use the sugar next time, but other than that, it was very good. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Watermelon Fire and Ice Salsa

I made this exactly as directed. One thing that may have been more helpful is knowing how small to chop the watermelon. I think it would have been much easier to eat on chips if it was in 1/2 inches or smaller cubes like you'd do for pico de gallo. My family didn't like this. It was just okay in my opinion. Thank you for the post though - it's fun to try something new!
