Crushed Pineapple Sour Cream Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2004
This is a great recipe. Very easy to prepare and tastes so good. I mixed everything by hand and it came out perfectly. When it was thoroughly chilled I spread whipped topping over the entire pie. Very refreshing. I have made it with the graham cracker crust and with ready-bake pie crust...both were good.

Creamy Soup Steaks

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2003
I had high hopes for this recipe. It went together in no time, but it didn't turn out how I expected. The taste was a bit bland, and I even seasoned the chops with lemon-pepper seasoning first. The gravy was very unappealing. It stayed really soupy and didn't thicken at all.

Easy Ham and Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2003
A great way to use left-over ham. I doubled the recipe and didn't have egg noodles on hand so I used elbow macaroni. I also used one can cream of mushroom and one can cream of celery soup. The result was a very creamy, very cheesy dish.

Tomato-Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2003
This is a quick and easy soup to prepare. The only things I did different was to add some beef bouillon granules (2 tsp.), and I used roasted garlic flavored tomato paste. I also let it come to a boil and then simmered it for an hour or so. I thought about omitting the wine but was glad I didn't. It really ads a great flavor. I doubled the recipe and it tasted even better the next day.

Hamburger Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2003
This was okay. You really have to use LEAN beef. The hamburger I used was only 85% lean (it's what I had on hand). I fried it and drained it very well or so I thought. When the dish baked up there was a lot of grease at the bottom. It was kind of soupy. I had added a lot of extra cheese which binded it a little, but it was still greasy. If I ever make it again I will be sure to use the leanest ground beef possible. The taste was good, just had an unappealing consistency.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2003
Very simple, very flavorful recipe. Easy to prepare...I used a 1 1/2 lb. cut of London Broil and sliced it before putting it into the crock pot. I layered the slices and then poured all of the soups over the meat (I mixed the 3 soups in a bowl first). The dish goes together so quickly and the end result was tasty, tender beef. I served it over buttered rice. The gravy is really good and I think I will try serving over egg noodles next time.

Mexican Cream Cheese Rollups

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2003
I love this recipe. I made these for a bridal shower and they were gone in a flash. I did leave out the green olives and just went with the black, but they were still so tasty.

Spinach Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2002
This soup is so easy to make. I make it quite often. I have tried it with both cheese and meat tortellini, and either tasted great. I also add a bit of extra garlic powder and some poultry seasoning too.

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2002
This was a simple and tasty recipe for ambrosia. Very good. Just be sure to use the finely shredded coconut. I didn't, but will next time to achieve a smoother texture.

This dip was so good. I am a huge fan of white pizza so I had to try it. Everyone who tried it loved it and wanted the recipe. The flavor tasted even better when reheated the next day.
