Fresh Pear Pie
I too had lots of fresh pears from our orchard, so I found this recipe and decided to make it. This pie is fantastic!!! It does taste a little like apple pie, but even better! I will be making this one again instead of apple pie. I only had enough pastry to use on bottom of pie and so I made a crumble topping of brown sugar, butter & flour. It is the best pie I have tasted in a long time :)
