I was disappointed with this recipe. However, it disappeared at my scrap booking gathering, so everyone else enjoyed it. I made the recipe as is, and used a pastry brush to coat the bacon every five minutes. I still ran out of the coating but I don't think its necessary to double the sauce. I also bumped up the oven temp to 400 with about fifteen minutes left of baking since it wasn't crisping up. I made a bacon candy recipe from food and wine that I loved, so that is probably why I was disappointed with this one. Too much work, not enough award, IMHO.
