Dried Cherries, Pecans and Rosemary Brie en Croute

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2010
Unbelievable. I never thought the rosemary would work but it was incredible. Even my brie-hating daughter loved it!!

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

This is truly delicious. I've also made it without the bacon as a vegetarian dish and it's still fantastic.

This is such a hit in our house, its the only way my daughters will eat peaches. Quick, easy, and very satisfying.

Asian Beef Skewers

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2003
Flavor was good, but flank steak is too tough. I bought two different flank steaks for a bbq, which took forever to cut into thin slices (although it helps a lot when its partially frozen). One flank steak was much more tender than the other. I would recommend buying a good cut of meat, marinating in cubes, and shish-ka-bobbing instead of skewering.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2003
I was worried about it being salty after reading other reviews, so I marinated the chicken overnight and didn't add the vegetables until morning. I found it was rather bland, and lacking a little kick. Everyone ate it just fine, but no one asked for the recipe.

Jalapeno Chicken

Reviewed: May 20, 2003
I was skeptical with so much cinammon, but stuck to the recipe anyway. It was fantastic! Everyone loved it,even my little ones (I only used 1/2 a jalapeno pepper, deseeded). It was a bit dry because I used skinless chicken breasts, so I would suggest cooking in an oven bag to keep chicken moist. I also lowered the temperature to 350 to try and retain some moisture. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for such a unique recipe.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2003
Excellent recipe. I used cut up precooked link sausages (that's what I had in the freezer!) and added a little scallion for kick. Very tasty; I had someone request the recipe the very first time I made it.

Baked Corn

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2003
This recipe was absolutely delicious, but I couldn't believe how much butter the recipe called for. I could actually hear the bread frying in the oven! I'd be afraid to lower the butter content though, I wouldn't want to risk changing how good this bread is!

Cheesy Creamed Spinach Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2002
Really tasty. Even my 5 and 6 year olds ate it without complaint! Not as creamy as I'd hope, but the taste couldn't be beat. Maybe adding a little cream or milk would help the texture...

Charline's Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2002
Absolutely delicious! Perfect holiday sweet potatoes. I thought they were a tad too sweet and when I said during dinner that I'd use less sugar next time, everyone yelled out "WHY???" So, maybe they are just perfect. The coconut and the crisp topping definitely make this unique and worth adding to your holiday menu.
