Here is the real skinny on this one! I have made this for years with a 20oz can of crushed pineapple win its own juice. What really makes the cake is the topping. I mix a small package of vanilla pudding, one cup of milk and whisk until thick. The add an 8oz tub of coolwhip. I serve the topping on the side. I had planned to try it with peaches as I love them! I will use a larger can than this recipe calls for and use my topping.

Reviewer - WOW! AWESOME! TIME saver tips: use Paul Newman's balsamic vinagrette instead of making your own dressing. MONEY saving tip: use "Craisins" dried cranberry fruit instead of regular dried cranberries. Use can of mandarin oranges instead of poppy seeds. THIS WAS A HIT!

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

reviewer: Yum, yum, yummy - made these and they're perfect. I like a lot of mustard, so I was tempted to add more then called for - Glad I didn't, as it would have taken away from the flavor of the bacon. At first bite, we wanted to add a dash of salt but again, glad I didn't b/c when you taste the bacon you have more then enough salty flavor. Can't wait to make for the holidays!

Onion-Roasted Potatoes

Took to Schaeffer's - they all loved them - use Knorr's French Onion Soup Mix packet and put on middle to top rack of oven. Line pan with aluminum foil. May also use olive oil.

Irish Boiled Dinner (Corned Beef)

The most important ingredient is missing here. Add rutabaga (cut up like the potatoes) at the same time as you add the cabbage. Mash them like the potatoes with butter on them.
