I'm not sure why this pie is getting so many 5 stars. I hate to say this, I really do, but it's really not that good. I don't know why I strayed from my usual recipe, I guess I wanted to try something new. I knew something was weird when I saw that no flour was added to the apples. I wasn't sure how that yummy apple sauce would form without it, then thought, "Eh, maybe I'm about to learn something new." Nope, as I should've known the inside of the pie turned out dry and the top (due to the flour) was a little mushy, instead of crisp and crumbly. This plan makes no sense to me whatsoever.
