About this Cook
I've been cooking for my family for 17+ years. My goal is to keep trying new recipes and reading the advice on the reviews. I rarely stray from a recipe but with enough encouragement, I'll try new things.
My favorite things to cook
Due to our busy life, casseroles and crockpot dishes are frequently served in this house. I love finding new and interesting recipes and I'm grateful to have 3 kids who aren't too picky.
My cooking triumphs
A cooking triumph for me would be to hear my mother in law say, "That's good. Can I get the recipe?"

Ramen Noodle Salad
Made this for company (first time I made it) and we all loved it. I had no problems with the noodles sticking. I had the veggies cut and the peas in a bowl. As soon as I drained the noodles, I rinsed with cold water and immediately added to the bowl and mixed it up. I only used 3 packages of the noodles (all I had), added 2 cups of peas, and mixed 3 packages of the noodle seasoning to the 1 cup of mayo. Turned out great!
