Linda's Monster Cookies

"I made these today for Valentine's day for my Sunday school class and my own kids. I used 3 cups of holiday candy pieces and 1 cup of chocolate chips. Like the preceeding review, I didn't use margarine, I used 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup peanut butter instead. Shaped into 2 inch balls or larger, and placed a giant craft stick in the center of the balls. I than flattened slightly with a fork. I did bake them for 14 minutes, because I think everyones ovens are different. After cookies are cooled wrap in holiday goodie bags. These were the best monster cookies ever. Thanks they were a big hit!"

Cinnamon Chip Apple Cookies

The cookies were very moist, I think because of the apple. I divided the batter in half, left one as wrote and added 1/2 cup of Hershey's minature chocolate chips to the other. Two different cookies from one batter! I think I might try them without the apple next time and see how it turns out. By the way the cinnamon chips were great to eat on their own.

Hash Brown and Pork Chop Casserole

"This is the second time I tried this recipe, although the first time was great, I decided to spice it up a bit. I used seasoned salt on both sides of chops,with pepper and marinated them with worcesterhire sauce. I used cream of chicken and sauted the onions. I also used boneless sirloin chops instead. Great!!"

Turkey 'n Stuffing Bake

"I made this a couple of days after Thanksgiving, to use up leftovers. My family thought it was a little bland, if I make it again,I will add some seasonings to the soup. And probably not use the recipe to use up leftovers but to use fresh stuffing instead."

Pumpkin Honey Pie

"I made this pumpkin pie recipe,along with my traditional pie. Most preferred the traditional, but the kids liked it, since I drizzled melted chocolate over when cooled. I did however had to bake this pie a long time before it was done."

It's Chili by George!!

"This is about the 8th time I have made this chili recipe. Its is the best. I still use my slow cooker, because I think the flavors blend more. This time however, I used buffalo burger instead, it was better than than hamburger. I still use tomato paste instead of tomato sauce. I also use red and green tobasco, and cilantro. This is a real keeper!"

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

"I wouldn't exactly call this recipe awesome. I mean its ok, but I don't think that I would make it again, with the soup added. I still like slow cooked roast with beef broth added and vegetables on the bottom of the slow cooker and meat on top. With various seasonings added."

Zucchini Casserole I

"For a zucchini recipe, I thought it was pretty good. It was not watery like most zuke casseroles. I used Italian flavored bread crumbs instead of the corn flakes and omitted the basil and it had wonderful flavor!"

Apple Oatmeal Bars

"My family loved this recipe! So easy to make, I could't believe that it would turn out to be a bar, but it sure did. I added tsp. of cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg to the crumb recipe, since we like cinnamon. Also a little more apples."

Barbecued Beef

Overall it was a fair recipe. The sauce was thick and wonderful when I poured it over the beef. When I opened the cover the next morning the sauce was not thick and it seemed to lack some more seasonings. I think just cooking the meat in the crock first than adding the sauce later is still the best way.
