Pecan Pie IV

This recipe is perfect the way it is. I cook it for 60 minutes. I do cover the crust with strips of foil when I put the pie in the oven to prevent the crust from overcooking. I've made this twice, and the next time I make it, I will cover the pie the last 10 minutes of cooking with foil because the pecans got a little more brown than I would like them. However, it tasted wonderful!

Hot Artichoke Spinach Dip

Hands down, best spinach dip ever. I do like to add some softened cream cheese into my mix before I bake. Just be careful not to add more than a few tbs or you will over power it.

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

This was great! I think I would prefer add'l cocoa next time, but I dropped a few butterscotch morsels into the pudding before putting it into the refrigerator and it was a nice touch. Will make again.

Classy Green Bean Casserole

My husband did NOT like this at all. My daughter wouldn't eat it either. I think the sour cream ruined it. Next time, I might stick with the 'regular' recipe and add some ritz with the french fried onions though. I liked that part.

Grandma's Corn Bread Dressing

I really enjoyed this, but I do like sausage in my cornbread stuffing. We had to add more stuffing than the recipe called for. 3 cups just wasn't enough. And I tamed down the sage a bit.

Busy Day Chicken

My mom used to make this for us when we were little. The only difference is she used the whole cut up chicken so she didn't have to pull it apart. Very messy, but very good.

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits

These were good. I usually use canned dough because I'm not much of a bread baker, but I was able to make these with no troubles and they were tasty. I might add more butter next time though. Oh, and I didn't have wheat flour, so I used all white flour.

This was great! I used enchilada sauce instead of taco sauce. If you like it really spicy, try the hot style Rotel and the hottest enchilada sauce you can find!

Ultimate Spicy Spud Soup

This is good and spicy! I changed it up a bit by using pre cut potatoes from the freezer section and adding more cayenne. We like it hot at our house! Quick and good, especially in for winter.
