This recipe is definitely a keeper. I agree with "lonnarific" that some reviewers complaints are not fair. If the recipe had been called KFC Original, I would have been dissappointed because it was too crispy and didn't have 11 herbs and spices. Prepared as directed, however, this recipe lives up to its name and, as another reviewer said, rivals restaurant style Chicken Fried Chicken. I did as others suggested (and as I'm accustomed to when breading foods) and dredged the chicken in a little seasoned flour first, then dipped it in the egg wash and then in the cracker crumb breading. I can see how the skinless, boneless chicken breasts that are called for would work best, and the thin sliced ones that I used browned nicely and were moist and tender. I also made "country gravy" and mashed potatoes since that is what I'm used to having with Chicken Fried Chicken. I will definitely be making this again!
