Creamy Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
Exellent dinner! and quick! I had to improvise on some of the ingrediants. I didnt have enough velveeta cheese so I used half velveeta and half cream cheese, and I used saltines instead of butter crackers, and it still turned out sooo yummy. I bet corn flakes would be good to use as well instead of crackers. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2007
Great Recipe..My Family Loved it! I added more cheese (sharp cheddar) ~ We love cheese, I used Cream of Chicken and Cream of Mushroom, substituted milk for the water, a dish and a dash of a few of my own favorite spices. Layered it and turned out great! For left overs I layed it in a pyrex dish and baked it in the oven so that the top was golden and crisp. This is definitely a recipe that you can switch up and have fun with. Thanks for sharing

Grilled Asparagus

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
I placed the asparagus in a zip lock baggie with olive oil, fresh lemon juice, original mrs dash, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for about 8 hours. Grilled with onion slices (and all marinate spices) wrapped in foil. WOW! This was the best asparagus I've ever eaten. Thanks for the grilling idea! I always have to spruce things up...

This was so easy to make I couldnt believe it. Everyone kept rantin and ravin how wonderful it was, they thought I totally slaved over it. They about keeled over when I told them how to make it. Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
This was a very flavorful marinade. I let the chicken marinate for approx 24 hours. So it was extremely flavorful, jucy and tender. We served on the kabobs as well: I cut up yellow and orange bell peppers into chunks and marinated them in pineapple chunks and pineapple juice for 24 hours. I bought to packs of pearl onions and they marinated in itialian dressing for approx 24 hours also. We assembled the kabobs and grilled them. OOOHH this was so good. We served on Fathers Day to three families and it was a hit!! Thanks for sharing

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
This recipe had wonderful flavor. I about triples the recipe though. The primary recipe didnt make a whole lot. I let the chicken marinate for about 8 hours and would occationally massage the chicken in the bag to tenderize and be sure it marinated to the fulles flavor. The chicken was very tender. We actually used fresh chicken strips, and made extra (The tripling of the recipe as previously stated) honey mustard sauce to baste and dip in. Very Yummy Thanks for sharing.

Easy Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
Very nice texture, and tastes great. The sour cream is very over powering I'd probably reduce or use this specific whipped cream with other dishes. Just a little to tart for the chocolate cake we made. Thank you for sharing.

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
Definately for cheese lovers! After reading the reviews I did make some minor changes: I didnt use evaporated milk. I dont like it. So I used just regular 2%. I used 1/2 sharp cheddar, 1/2 colby/montery jack, and a nice chunk of velveeta. I did put oil and sea salt in the water to boil the noodles. I did also leave out the mustard all together. I just added a few personal spices. Pepper, garlic, etc. It was the best mac & cheese & creamy. Yumm-o. I absolutely love it. Everybody else that ate it loved it, and wanted the recipe. Thanks for sharing
