Mushroom Blue Cheese Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2014
Warning. Once you have turkey burgers this way, no other way is good enough. These were awesome. I didnt have onions so I used onion powder. And used Bragg amino acids because that's my go to soy sauce substitute. Other than that, followed recipe as written. It was juicy, flavorful and delicious.

Guacamole

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2014
I didn't want the avocado I had cut into earlier today to turn brown so decided to make some impromptu guacamole today. Had all the ingredients on hand except the tomatoes. I didn't feel like going to the store so I substituted with a can of drained rotel. Best guacamole ever. I like it even better than chipotle and that was my favorite prior to today.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
So Delish. My BF made this 2 weeks ago and followed recipe exactly. It was prefect. Better than any fancy cobbler I've had. So im attempting to duplicate it myself as we speak. Wanted it to be slightly diff. He used apricots. I'm trying fresh peaches. Topping with tbsp of brown sugar and dash of cinnamon.

Chicken Salad Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
Delish. Was craving a chicken salad sandwich and wanted to try to make my first after visiting mr pickles (local sandwich spot). I don't like olives so didn't add them. For the most followed the recipe. Added a tad more mustard and a dash of paprika. Didnt need to add any salt. Dash of cayenne for a little kick. I impressed myself.

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2012
I made some modifications in attempts to cut calories. Omitted butter, olive oil, salt and cream because that's already in the jarred Alfredo. I like spicy foods but 1 tsp of cayenne is waaaay too much. By boyfriend could barely eat it. It was as spicy as a Thai dish. Still yummy though, Just had some extra heat. Also used cheese bertoli tortellinis instead of penne pasta. So didn't need extra cheese

Marinated Tuna Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
One of the 1st reviews I've done. My first tuna steak was dryer than I would like but that was due to user error. 2nd time I grilled for no more than 10 min. Perfection. Wanted a little pink in the center. Was just as good as benihanas. I sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds

Traditional Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
Loved it. Used more cheese and whole wheat pasta. Also sprinkled bread crumbs on top for extra crunch. Didn't have evaporated milk so I used some regular whole milk.
