About this Cook
I'm a single dad with two boys who are with me full time. I have a close, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I enjoy being outdoors as much as indoors. I work full time as an Application Analyst in the IT department in the Health Care industry.
My favorite things to cook
My all time favorite is Barbeque sandwiches, but I also enjoy going healthy with salmon, rice and cooked veggies. My tastes are very broad. I can eat just about anything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cookies at Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
Making dinner every night.
My cooking tragedies
Made Sauerkraut for the first time for my boys and I didn't cook it long enough to get the bitter taste of the vinegar to cook out and for the cabbage to soften. It has completely turned them off to one of my favorite Fall time foods.

Root Beer Cookies
My root beer loving family adored these. They were nice and soft and had a great flavor. I would suggest doubling this recipe if you're serving more than four people. I think I'll try them this summer and make ice cream sandwiches!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
I wouldn't call this a bad chocolate chip cookie, because that's almost impossible, but it's hard to beat Tollhouse. I'll be making those next time.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna
This was just ok. The color was grayish-green and it was a little bland. I probably won't use this recipe again.
