Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
Make this, you won't be disappointed! I added a jar of roasted red peppers instead of the green pepper. Also, I added about 5x the red pepper flakes. Will definitely make again!

Indian Chickpeas

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
I made this alongside of curried chicken last night. I have to admit I followed the advice of others and added some additional spices (coriander, cayenne). I also accidently increased the onion to a whole cup. I absolutely loved this dish and the leftovers were even better. Will definitely make again.

Lentil and Smoked Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2012
One of my favorites. I do, however, make some adjustments: I use turkey sausage instead. It is helpful to just use cole slaw mix instead of shredding the cabbage. I put in about 2 cups of this. I like mine spicy, so I add 2 teaspoons of cayenne. Also, I found that there needs to be more water, so I put in about 6 cups. Love it!

Polenta with Spicy Sausage-Veggie Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
EXCELLENT RECIPE...wouldn't change a thing. I wasn't sure if the polenta was supposed to brown (nothing seemed to be happening), so I just let it crust a bit. So good.

Basic Cheese Polenta

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
I thought this was great. I only had to simmer this for about 10 minutes. It thickened up really fast. This would be good creamy or pan-fried. Will definitely make again...I might try with brown sugar and cinnamon instead of parmesan cheese!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2014
Make sure you use a hearty bread. I bought day-old rolls and broke them up. Also, I pretty much filled the pan to the top with the rolls before saturating them. My only other adjustment was to take the sugar down to a 1/2 cup. That seemed plenty; I didn't want this to be overly sweet. Awesome recipe!

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
I thought that the texture and consistency of the rolls were perfect. However, when I make these again, I will DEFINITELY add salt. That was the only downfall of this recipe. They were a bit too bland for my taste.
