Easy recipe.Too bland so followed one review and added garlic,nutmeg and cinnamon with a dash of ground red pepper. Much better. I cook my butternut squash in slow cooker after halving and de-seeding. Then quickly scrape off shell but leaving some tender parts of the skin for increased nutrition. I use my Magic Bullet to properly puree skin and meat and all the cooked veggies with the chicken stock. I used coffee creamer as didnt have half and half. I also added a bit of brown sugar. I shared with family and got great reviews. I am keeping this recipe as a starter for my soup.
