Hello everyone! I'm a 43 yr old woman. I have been married 6 years and have a 6 yr old son. I love to cook, camp, read, and sew. I am all about road trips! I love finding out of the way spots to eat and shoot photographs.
My favorite things to cook
I love everything low carb. I have came up with really amazing low carb versions of almost all of my families favorite foods. I love all seafood and veggies, so they are what I have been cooking with lately.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is southern, so we are skilled in fried food! I dont think a lot of people realize there are some amazing healthy dishes from the south that are extremely healthy these days... and not everything is fried anymore! My large family gathers for any occasion we can think of so we can share food and family time.
My cooking triumphs
I have masterd making almost all of my childhood favorite foods in a low carb way, and have lost over 100 pounds doing so. I love turning people on to low carb who think you can't have a delicious meal that is low carb.
My cooking tragedies
I made biscuits from scratch for my husband right after we got married. I am terrible at baking. I somehow put in 1/2 cup of baking soda. They were awful! He never said a word. He ate three before I got a chance to sit down and try them. What a good sport he was!

Pizza On The Grill II
Please be sure to turn the burner to low when you are ready to actually put the pizza on the grill. Adding some garlic salt and herbs to the dough really enhance the flavor!
