Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
These are the best I've ever made and ever eaten. The meatballs stay softer while cooking in the oven and when you cut into one you can see strings of cheese- so good!

Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
These cookies had a great flavor and texture. However, they came out of the oven very flat. Since my teen daughter made these I gave her an important tip- Chill the cookie dough before baking and ALWAYS place the chilled cookie dough on cold baking sheets. The cookie won't spread out and have the consistency of a flat pancake but a fluffy cookie that it should be. Enjoy!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2010
Want to add a nice kick to these biscuits? Add 1 Tablespoon white vinegar to the milk and let it sit for a few minutes before adding to the flour. Now you will have buttermilk biscuits! If possible, use BUTTER instead of shortening! It's the lesser of the two evils!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
Why do people give a wonderful recipe less stars than it deserves due to THEIR deviation of the recipe??? Read the rating below mine and you will see why I'm annoyed. This recipe is WONDERFUL! I put mine in my pressure cooker for one hour and it was melt-in-your-mouth GOOD! If you use your pressure cooker allow it to cool by itself when it's done.

Very delicious and so easy to make. This is a comfort soup! I used low fat margarine instead of butter- it was still amazing!

Flatlander Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
I found the perfect recipe. Everyone that tried it ended up with a bowl, even the ones that didn't like my other chili. Thanks, George! P.S. This is a chili recipe for those who don't like it too hot or too whimpy. It's perfect.

Naan

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
This bread was amazing. Easy to make and just impressive! It is the best bread I've tasted outside of an Indian restaurant. I was paying $2.79 at a local grocery store for TWO pieces of Naan bread and this recipe yielded at least 15 good sized pieces and they tasted better. Don't worry if they look floppy on your grill. Make sure you spray your grill w/nonstick spray, arrange the dough, and you just watch them rise. It's that simple.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
Another perfect cookie recipe on Allrecipes. If anyone does not like this recipe, they shouldn't be in the kitchen. You could easily sneak oatmeal into a diet of someone who doesn't like it and they would never know. It's a cookie with subtle peanut butter flavor and the chocolate chips rock!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
Do you like Soft Batch cookies? If so, you have the recipe right here. I pulled these cookies out just as they were browning on the edges and let them sit on the cookie sheet over a baking rack. The results were warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies that had a crisp edge. This recipe is a keeper.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
These cookies come out light and they really have volume. The flavor is also excellent. The dough MUST be chilled or you will have a difficult time with it sticking to the cutters. I don't need any other recipe than this one.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
This recipe is perfection. I just used it for the first time and I added 3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream to the mixture to give it a lighter texture. It was a dream to frost cookies for a change. This one is a keeper!

Way Easy Pizza Sauce/Bread Stick Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
Very good! I didn't want it to have a strong garlic flavor so I omitted the chopped garlic but did add garlic powder and onion powder. I also added extra basil and it had a great pizzeria flavor.

Delicious Baked Chicken Kiev

Instead of using the cereal, use instant mashed potatoes instead. I mixed the instant potatoes with 3/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and it was crispy and delicious!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
This bread is the best bread I have made to date. It's full of flavor and incredibly easy to make. If you can read directions, this is the recipe for you. I sprinkled Cheddar Cheese on the top and it was great. I recommend that if you want to make rolls out of this recipe, it's possible but make the dough balls small. I made some and the rolls are like mini loaves of bread.
