Zucchini Risotto

I found this recipe quite bland and had to add some salt. Recipe would probably taste better if it was eaten as a side course alongside something more savory. If eaten alone, this is probably pretty healthy, although not very flavorful.

Cuban Midnight Sandwich

These were quite tasty! Like some of the readers here, I halved the mayo(fat free). 1 cup is way too much for 4 hoagies. Very simple and easy to make.

Crawfish Etoufee

I'm not sure if this recipe is authentic or not (probably not) but it tastes pretty good for a quick and easy meal. Like one of the other reviewers, I omitted the can of golden mushroom soup and added an 8 oz can of tomato sauce instead. I also added 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper and 1/2 tsp of Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning to give it more flavor.

Soy Garlic Steak

I marinated this overnight and cooked it in a pan because I don't have a grill. My gf and I thought the flavor was only okay. I won't make this again.

Chap Chee Noodles

Tastes almost exactly like my favorite Korean place's chap chae. I did not soak the noodles in warm water and instead boiled them for 5 minutes, like the directions on the noodles indicated, before draining them and setting aside for cooking. I did not add bamboo shoots or salt but I did add mushrooms. I plan on adding some red bell peppers and maybe onions next time. It ended up tasty and was quick and easy to make. Also tasted a lot better than chap chae recipes I've had from actual Korean cookbooks. Finally, I think that this recipe is more like 2 servings.

Rich Mexican Corn

My gf and I didn't really like this dish. I added some salt and pepper but it still didn't have much flavor. It was very greasy and oily. Mine never browned in the oven and it never thickened up enough even after letting it sit for 10 minutes. I only used 1 canned jalapeno with seeds because I thought 8 would be too many.

Easy Stroganoff

Maybe this is what beef stroganoff is supposed to taste like but I found it pretty bland and lacking in flavor.

Crayfish or Shrimp Pasta

I halved the recipe and added sliced mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, crawfish and crab meat. I also followed the suggestions of other readers and added 1.5 cups cream and 1.5 cups half and half. It was pretty thick after reducing it but then adding the veggies and meat made it even thicker and I didn't have to add any starch. I used 1.5 tablespoons of Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning and found it to be a bit too salty. Next time I will try just 1 tablespoon and or try another Cajun seasoning. Overall, it was very good and also looked nice!

Spicy Garlic and Pepper Shrimp

Recipe is very quick and easy to cook but I found it a bit bland. I also added the onions along with the garlic and shrimp because I don't think cooking them for 10 seconds at the end would add much flavor. I agree with the other reviewers who said it might be helped by adding other ingredients.
