Grilled Portobello and Mozzarella

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2003
This is a great recipe. We had it as a main dish. I did make a slight change, because of ingredients I had on hand. I used fresh red bell peppers, diced & chopped up the mushroom stems, then added both to the marinara sauce. The bell peppers were slightly crunchy which added another dimension to the dish.

Easy Never Forgotten Guacamole

Reviewed: May 24, 2008
We love this recipe. I subbed mild green chili's as we can't eat very "hot" food & jalapeno's are too hot for us. So glad I found this.

Easy Portobello Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
We had this last nite & loved it. I did use shallots, instead of onions. I couldn't find Asiago cheese, but did find a grated Italian cheese mixture that had both cheeses, ( and some others as well), & used it instead. Both of us loved it!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
This is a super easy recipe. I put it together yesterday morning & it was ready to be pulled late in the afternoon. After pulling it, I put a new liner in the pot, added BBQ sauce & put the meat in. After mixing it up, had to add more sauce. Turned the pot on for 4 hrs & let in cook on low. When it was done I put in the fridge over nite & packaged it this morning. We are full time RV'ers & hat sandwiches are a quick supper when we are on the road. The flavor of these is delicious. Thanks for a great recipe, Sarge.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
I fixed this for supper last nite. Both of us loved it. I used the wine on hand, chillable red, (icky sweet), & the sweetness did not come thru. Will most certainly make again. Thanks to Miami Mama for the review. Also the sauce makes a perfect au jus.

The Juiciest Hamburgers Ever

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
Fixed this tonite as a hamburger steak & served with 4 cheese rice for hubby, cottage cheese for me & pickled beets for both. Broiled the patties in the convection oven. It turned out great & we both loved it. Also, the meal was very kind to my diabetes. Will be sure to have it again.

Not having made this I will still give it a 4. It looks much better than the one I got from the Splenda web site. I intend to make these today. Thanks for the frosting recipe. Well, I made a batch today & even my spouse likes them.

This is very easy to prepare. I did add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice for more zing. And yes I did make a full batch. Took it to a social hour at the RV park and everyone loved it.

Slow Cooker Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
Sorry, but I won't be doing this one again. The chops turned out to be dry & I have never had this happen before. If anyone has any suggestions I'll be happy to try it again as it is a very easy recipe.
