Spicy Flat Iron Steak Rub

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This was an excellent steak rub! I used top sirloin and made a few substitutions because I didn't have all the spices on hand. I used cajun seasoning instead of chipolte & ancho pepper and garlic salt instead of salt/pepper. Yummy!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Excellent cookies!!! I've tried many from this site, and we eat a lot of cookies around here. These are by far the best! I used 1 tbsp of Vanilla and omitted the nuts. They were fabulous!

Butter Beef

Easy and yummy. Kids & husband alike loved this one. Served with White Rice the first time, and egg noodles the second. Thickened the gravy with flour at the end...

Slow Cooker Rosemary and Red Pepper Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2004
Very good, added tomato paste and made the sauce with bisquick and chicken broth (per other reviews). Will make more sauce next time to cover all the noodles. I liked very much, husband and son aren't big chicken fans but they ate it, so I guess that means it was really good.

Chocolate Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2003
Very Good, easy to make. If you are a first timer (as I was) the chocolate kisses hold their shape even when melted. So 2 minutes is really all you need even though they don't look melted, they are. Use the candies to push the chocolate down. I also used mini twists as I couldn't find circular pretzles. Worked great!

Chocolate Chip Cookies for Special Diets

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2003
I'm on a low carb diet and this cookie fits within my limits. It was very good. Kinda cakey, but if you are on a diet, it's a treat! I used splenda as others suggested & vegetable oil spread instead of butter.

This is a very easy, quick and good meal. My kids (9yrs & 2yrs) gobbled them up. I used canned sloppy joe mix instead of bbq sauce. Very Yummy.

Beef Noodle Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2003
EXCELLENT!!! I didn't have the beef onion soup mix so I used (MAINEPOTATO's) suggestions and was a little aprehensive, but it was delicious. My picky 8 year old and easy to please 18 month old both gobbled it up! There is barely enough left for my husband when he gets home later.
