World's Best Bacon Cheese Dip
Very good! I doubled the reipe. For double recipe I used 2 boxes of precooked bacon, 4 cups of shredded cheddar, 4 green onions, 1 cup Helmans, 1/2 cup sour cream and a few dashes of Tabassco. Hot sauce just heightens the flavour of the cheese and bacon and didnt add any real heat. Topped with crushed Ritz, another cup of shredded cheese and a bacon bits. Used a 9 x 13" throw away pan. Big hit for a crowd of 9 big eaters. Yum! Think I may try this as a middle layer between cooked shredded hash browns for a breakfast/ brunch side dish.

Baked Sweet Potatoes
Fantastic! I had a couple of cups of butternut squash hanging around so threw it in with one large sweet potato. Both cut into the same 1 1/2" cubes. Used oregano. We LOVED it. It is so nice to have a savory sweet potato dish. This is a great side dish for any meal. Beef, chicken, fish... Whatever. Sweet potato is such a power food and we try to eat it as often as we can. Next time I will double the recipe and use half in a low-fat sweet potato/squash roasted soup. Perfect for fall/winter.

Raisin Pie III
I've made this twice for my father in law who LOVES raisin pie. I multiply everything by 1 1/2 and used half golden raisins and half sunmaid california raisins. Added a good 2 tsp of vanilla just before pouring into the pie crust. I cheat and use Tender Flake pie crust and slice one pie crust up and do a lattice top. Looks so good (well it is part of his birthday gift!) Tastes like a huge butter tart. YUM. Very easy recipe.
