My whole family loved these, I served them with lamb chops with a balsamic reduction (from this site). This made a perfect Easter dinner!

It was pretty good, I added some 'lil smokies and my whole family loved it. I also subbed the Parmesan cheese for Butterkase since it was what I had on hand.

Avgolemono

Very tasty.....Keep in mind that you must use fresh lemon juice, squeezed from a lemon (not bottled) and high quality chicken stock as that is where the flavor originates.

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
My hubby and kids thought that they were okay, however I didn't. They were flavorless. I was looking for a recipe that tasted like the pumpkin cookies they have at Ralph's grocery store, and this wasn't it. I'll keep looking.

Dad's Excellent Scallops

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2005
Next time I'll use thinly sliced bacon instead of the prosciutto due to the cost. In this recipe you wouldn't notice the difference.

It was pretty good, although I wasn't too big on the topping. My hubby sure liked it though.

These were great and they came out perfect, slightly crispy edges and soft middles. I rolled them in holiday colored sugar sprinles for a festive touch. Yummy!

Buckeye Balls II

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2004
Just like I remember having as a kid, the only change that I made was to use natural (unsweetened) peanut butter otherwise it's way too sweet for my liking. Thanks for the recipe!

Broccoli Salad II

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2004
Very good.... I added grapes and thinly sliced red onion. Also, because a few in my family are on a low-carb diet I substituted Splenda for the sugar and no one could tell the difference. This is a total keeper and I plan on making it for the 4th of July. Definately make this at least a day before!!!!!!

Cinnamon-Roasted Almonds

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2004
I am on a low-carb diet so I substituted Splenda for the sugar and doubled it as per MLCASE's advice. They came out awesome and you'd never know I didn't use regular sugar. This recipe is definately a keeper and a great healthy snack. Thank you BJ!

Cheesy Herb Bread

This was great! My kids (6&7) really enjoyed it. I will also try a packet of of Hidden Valley Ranch instead of the Italian seasoning. Instead of grated cheese I used sliced mozzarella cheese. YUM!

Chili I

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2003
I truly believe that anyone who says that they didn't like this recipe must have done something wrong. It is TERRIFIC and I HATE chili. As many others did, I too omited the sirloin because I felt that the other flavors would overpower it, and I'm glad I did. I also used Coors Lite instead of dark beer because that's what I had in the house. I used mild peppers (by accident) and then added some Tabasco sauce. I made this the day before Super Bowl for my hubby since I'm going to a scrapbooking convention. It worked out great,(making it the day before) because as many reviewers stated, "It tastes even better the next day!" Yum, and GO RAIDERS!!!!

Chicken Adobo I

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2003
I made this for my husband whose mother used to make it for him when he was little. When it was done, I was pretty sure that my kids wouldn't like the strong taste so I added a large can of pineapple chunks and juice to it. That mellowed it out just enough and created the perfect ratio of sweet and salty, which complimented the chicken nicely. I also used boneless and skinless chicken and served it over Jasmine rice. I didn't fry it which made it virtually fat free but full of flavor. Needless to say my family enjoyed it and I will surely be making this again!
