Bread Pudding II

THis is a great recipe. My family always topped a bowel of bread pudding with French Vanilla ice cream. It's heavenly.

This was the first time I ever made a pecan pie. I added 1/4 cup of brown sugar(my preference) , but followed the rest of the recipe just as it says....this was the best! My family loved it and wants me to make more for Christmas. I didn't bake any longer than the recipe said, I let it cool for an hour and it was perfect!!!! You can't mess this up!

French Toast Casserole

I used ciabatta bread and it was perfect. I poured about 1/4 cup maple syrup in the mixture and let the bread soak overnight in the whole mixture. I baked it in the morning and half way, I mixed everything as to cook evenly. It was very delicious and tasted like cinnamon rolls!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

I have been using this recipe for over 5 years. I love it. The only thing I do different is use a crumb topping with a stick of soft butter, cinnamon, sugar and flour.

Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken

I made this for my family and they loved it! I served it in soft warm corn tortillas and garnished with lettuce and onions. Next time will add guacamole. This tasted like we went to a restaurant! The only thing I did different was that instead of using salsa, I used a can of Rotell.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

I have been making this every Thanks giving for several years and everyone always raves about it! It is delicious! I make mine with a tsp of cinnamon and I don't cube the sweet potatoes, I just boil them whole, let them cool and they peel very easily

Garlic Angel Hair Pasta

Loved it as did my family. I used the whole little package of chives and needed to double the butter but it was great. I heated the butter in a separate pan and added the seasoning and then poured it on the noodles. Then tossed with the parmesan cheese

Cream Cheese Filled Pumpkin Muffins

The best recipe ever. The muffins were so moist and the mix of spices was perfect. The only change I made was not to put cream cheese filling in the muffins. Instead, I made a cream cheese frosting to put over the muffins. This is the best recipe so far on this site that I have used. I doubled the batch and it made exactly 35 regular cupcake size muffins. My family loved these!!!!
