Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2004
I couldn't believe I hadn't rated this already. I've made them so many times. They are in much demand and are requested in place of birthday presents! I make them for my sister when she visits from USA. Cinnabons are the first thing I have when I visit her. We can't tell the difference.

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2004
I had to add another 1/4 cup of flour, but other than that, these were great! I've got orders from family to make more. For future reference... mini rolos need about 20g of dough and normal rolos need 25g. I sliced the dough and wrapped it around the rolo - had very few that spilled out but they still tasted good. Enjoy. We did and will again. Thanks

Yummy Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2004
I doubled the amount of Almond Essence (only recommended if you love almond flavour as much as my dad) I also used baking powder instead of bicarb of soda (terminology sometimes confuses me!) so they were a little more "cakey". Everyone loved them, including me, just got to go to the gym 2 more times this week! haha! Small price to pay. (",)

Shredded Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2004
This is a definite "keeper"! I too found an increase in cooking time helped with the flavours. My husband's only complaint was that he had to smell it for so long before he could eat it! I put it in wraps with salad and sour cream. Delish! Hubby ate left-overs cold out of the tub (",)

Caramel Frosting I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2001
I used this to top the "Heaven & Hell" cake submitted by Magen Farrar. I added a little more cream and found the finished texture amazing - smooth, yet with a bit of a crunch! I'm going to try piping it next time, as spreading was a little troublesome. (LDP, England)

Heaven and Hell Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2001
I used the mini angel cake pan my sister sent me from USA, so made 6 individual cakes (stops any fighting!) I couldn't find caramel frosting over here so I used "MaryKaye"s recipe and both complimented each other. I have been ORDERED to make some more. This time I'll try to remember the honey. Melt In Your Mouth Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2001
Only one problem.... I HAVE TO MAKE MORE! Definitely the way to MY man's heart!! I didn't understand the 'altitude' bit, but they turned out fine after an adjustment to cooking time. (L.Persse, England)

Haddock Au Gratin

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2001
I added a little more single cream and a chopped hard-boiled egg and it was delicious ... definitely one I'll be making again. (Measuring in cups is still a new concept for me, but I'm getting the hang of it now!)
