Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2014
My daughter is a vegetarian I tried it because I thought it would be something different for her to eat. She does like but we have to cut back on the onion. I did follow the recipe didn't add anything extra. I made it in my food processor if you have one use it. It's done in minutes.

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: May 19, 2014
Not hard to make at all. I followed the recipe to a tee.I didn't put it in a 13 x 9 baking dish I put it in a 2 qt casserole dish. It came out fine. It is sweet maybe next time I will cut back on the sugar. It is very good though.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 18, 2014
These pork chops are really good. I let the chops sit and marinate for a couple of hours before cooking them. Followed the recipe to a tee. When cooking them I only cooked them for 30-35 min covered at 350. One hour is tooooo much. I googled cooking time for pork chops most said 350 for 30-35 mins.___

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2014
This recipe is very easy to make.I did not have any trouble with the kale cooking evenly..it did. Actually they looked beautiful when I took them out of the oven. They were crunchy but we did not like them. They left a strong after taste that was not pleasant.. I wish we did like them because they are a healthy snack.

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2013
Excellent.....you must try this. I made this for my daughter and I we loved it. I brought it to a family get together it was a hit. All of my family members were commenting on it. We tried it as written it was good but felt we wanted to try these changes and we love it. I added blueberries and glazed walnuts. My daughter will add some craisins to her salad. Either way it is darn good. The dressing I make & store it in a jar in the fridge the ingredients do separate so you will have to stir it. We make individual salads when we want one using the amount of dressing we want.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2013
It's easy and good. I cooked the chicken as directed. I've never cooked it this way before it comes out very tender. I didn't boil the noodles in the chicken water. In a seperate pot I boiled the noodles adding a can of clear chicken broth for flavor. For spices I added a little garlic & onion powder. I added a small can of peas & carrot mix also. Didn't do the bread crumbs my family is not a fan of it. My 20 year old son doesn't like poultry but ate this up. I told him what he was eatting. He looked at me and said Mom it's good. I was shocked. I expected him not to eat it. Happy he did...thanks Dawne for the recipe.

Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2013
This is REALLY GOOD!!!! Try this recipe you won't be disappointed. I followed the recipe step by step the only ingredient I changed was the wine to 3/4 cups. It's really not clear how to cook the potaoes. If you follow these directions at this oven temperature it takes the potatoes about 45 -50 minutes to bake not 20minutes.

All American Roast Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
If I could I'd give this a few more stars I would!! This is REALLY good. We all loved it especially my husband he raved about it. I think this is the best roast I have ever cooked and I am 54 yrs old. I used a bottom of the round because that's what I had in the freezer. I did follow the recipe to a tee. It was wonderful. I will be using this again and again.

Kielbasa and Bow Ties

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2012
Very easy and good. My son loves kielbasa so I gave this a try. He really liked it. I did cook the macaroni seperate. I thought it would be to bland with tomatoe sauce so I used marinara sauce instead. I did add some garlic powder also. Mixed the sauce and macaroni together.Let it simmer together then served. I know I will be making this again.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2012
It is a easy recipe. I doubled the recipe for my family. I made as written except I mixed everything together including the onion. Then poured over potatoes and mixed well. I did change the cooking temperture to 425. I cooked them for 40mins. I did stir maybe 4x's so they wouldn't stick. I will make them again.

Bacon Cheese Frittata

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2012
I made it for my daughter who is a vegetarian. I used veggie bacon( Morning Star) instead of bacon. I tried some I couldn't tell it was veggie bacon. The veggie bacon does work very well. To much green onions for my taste and my daughter's.

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
This bread is not for me. Going with the ratings I really thought it was going to be a winner. It smelled good while cooking. My husband even commented on the aroma. I know I put the cinnamon in the recipe but it didn't taste like cinnamon. As a matter of fact it was bland with no taste & verrry dry. Big disappointment and a waste of ingredients.
