Chocolate Caramel Nut Cake
Super gooey and yummy! So easy to make and so delicious. I thought there was too much caramel to put in the middle of the cake so I set some aside and poured it over the top of the cake after it was done baking.

Baked Lemon-Basil Pasta
I was looking for an easy pasta recipe that included lemon and basil and found this. I tried it with what I had on hand (didn't have parmesan so I used jack and gouda..also no spinach so I added mushrooms). I don't think those changes affected the flavor, it was great! The basil didn't add much flavor (or my lemon was too overpowering) but the combination of flavors was perfect for my taste! My husband said "The flavor isn't what I would think for a creamy's not bad just not what I would think". He rated it 3 stars and I thought it was 5 stars so I rated it between the two. Thank for the great recipe!

Real Homemade Bagels
This was my first experiment making bagels, the dough went together easily and was a perfect texture when it came time to shape the bagels. I had a little trouble getting the ends to stick without making it look rough...and when they boiled they got huge! I noticed on my first batch (I doubled it)the "seams" on part of some of the bagels was a little gooey where I guess the water hadn't drained enough when I put it on the cookie sheet. Most the bagels turned out decent looking (even though I didn't use an egg wash or any toppings). I would definitely recommend toppings, I just didn't take the time to do it on these batches. The taste is awesome, and reminds me of a REAL bagel! The texture is great too. I can't wait to have a bagel sandwich and bagels and cream cheese tomorrow! Thanks!
