7 Up® Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2014
The cake was very good but it took over 90 minutes to bake and have that nice hard crust that I remember. I think using a thick fancy bundt pan was the culprit. By the time it cooked long enough it came out a little dry. Next time I will use a regular cake pan!

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
This is my second Christmas making these cookies. Of the 7 types of cookies I make each year these get the best reviews! My friends and family love them! I use 3 types of preserves- peach, strawberry and blackberry. I dust with powdered sugar at the end, too, like another reviewer suggested. These are great and easy to make and stay fresh for a long time.

This was SO GOOD. Made it for my weeks vacation and had it to eat every morning. Moist, flavorful and just plain good!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2011
Absolutely delicious! I am so glad I found this recipe because I don't like putting corn syrup in anthing. This pie was top notch in flavor and consistancy. I followed the prior reviews of doing 350 degrees for 10 minutes and then 300 degrees for 55 minutes. Turned out perfectly. Not too sweet, good nutty flavor, held together great (not runny). I sub'd a tbsp of bourbon whiskey for the 1 tbsp on milk... great decision on my part. My husband and I had trouble just having 1 piece!
