Pasta Salad with Homemade Dressing

Reviewed: May 25, 2012
I only used the dressing and it was really good. I did add about 3 or 4 teaspoons of honey, and about 2 or 3 teaspoons of white sugar, it got the bitter taste out. I put it over a pasta salad that had carrots, cucumbers, and celery in it. It was great. I will make this again.

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: May 25, 2012
I wish I could have really eaten these, because I think they would have turned out great. But they never would cook all the way through! I was so disappointed! No matter how low I turned the temp. down, it didn't cook the inside of it.

Blueberry Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2012
I thought this bread was going to be amazing after reading some of the other reviews. But it was very bland, and all I could smell is flour, or maybe the baking soda? Its not very flavorful, I added 2 teaspoons of vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/3 cup of brown sugar and it was still very tasteless. My search continues for a great blueberry bread.

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
This bread was amazing!!! The only changes I made, from reading other reviews was to increase the topping and put some in the middle. I did do 2 tablespoons of white sugar for that, and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. My kids loved it as well. I usaully make another cinnamon bread from this site, but I think this one will be my new one! Thanks alot.

Veronica's Apple Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
These are really good, I added more cinnamon and more sugar, and salt, did not butter the pan, there is enough butter in the pancake itself. Mine though did not turn out fluffy, they looked like the first picture. Anyone know the trick to get them fluffy?

Red Velvet Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
This recipe is great. Although I'm a little confused on why it says to use white sugar instead of icing sugar for the frosting. While the taste for the frosting is amazing, I still have a litle grainy texture to it. I do beat it with a mixer for ten minutes. Could I use powerded sugar instead? And how much would I use? Again, great cake, just need a little help on the frosting.

Jelly Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
These are wonderful. I made them using strawberry and raspberry jam. I followed the directions completely and they turned out great. My kids loved them, so did my husband. I will make these again. Its such a simple recipe that you don't expect much from it, but these are so good.

Sweet and Sour Turkey Patties

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
These are really really good! I was hesitate to try these because I wasn't sure I would like them, but I'm glad I did. I'm always looking for new ways to use ground turkey meat, and now I have another! The only things I changed was I added 1/4 tsp. of onion powder, instead of 1/2 of a chopped one. And I only used 2 tablespoons of oil. Thanks for the recipe!

It had no taste, was very dry, and it took so long to make too. Will not make this again.

Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
These are really good. I followed the recipe and did not change a thing. The only thing I changed was I used dark brown sugar for the crumb topping, only because I ran out of light brown sugar. They turned out really really sweet. I'm glad I didn't add additional spices either, the way they are is sweet and tasty enough. I will use light brown sugar for the topping next time.

Kids Favorite Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
This was one of my first times making a meatloaf and my kids loved it! The only changes I made was I added a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and added the ketchup mixture into the whole meatloaf like another reviewer said. Thank you very much for that! And I only added one teaspoon of onion powder. I have a very picky 4 year old and he was crying that he didn't want to try it, and he had 3 slices! And my 13 month old loved it too. Very pleased with this recipe. I ended up burning some of the bottom, but it was my first time cooking a meatloaf so I was unsure when it was done. I also used ground turkey, and it was only a pound. thanks again!
