Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
This is a wonderful recipe. One of the best key lime pies I have ever had, and couldn't be easier to make! I used two cans of sweetened condensed milk and followed the recipe as written.

Apple Pie Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Absolutely delicious! I used 4 Granny Smith and 4 Braeburn apples and increased the sugar in the filling to 1 cup. Baked in a cookie sheet cake pan (a little larger than a 9X13 cake pan). This is a wonderful recipe.

Korean BBQ Beef (Pul-Kogi)

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2005
This recipe was absolutley delicious....a great combination of flavors. I am going to try the marinade again with beef shortribs, as another reviewer suggested. I did leave the steak in the marinade overnight, which was the only change made to the recipe. A definite 5 star recipe!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2004
This is my new favorite chocolate chip recipe! These are AWESOME! Using more brown sugar than white and melting the butter make them very chewy, which is how we like them. I made a few slight changes to suit our tastes. I don't like cookies made with butter, so used half margarine and half butter flavored flavored Crisco, and thought it needed a little more salt, so used 3/4 tsp. The only other change was I reduced the vanilla to 1 tsp. as 1 T. gave them too heavy of a vanilla flavor. I would also recommend doubling the recipe if you have any cookie lovers around. Oh- one other thing and this is just personal preference, but we don't like that many chocolate chips, so I used half the amount called for, and in my oven 350 degrees worked well to bake. These are the BEST!

Polish Cabbage Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2004
This recipe was surprisingly very good. I have never eaten German food of any kind,so didn't really know what to expect, but it was quite good, and very easy to make.

Glazed Pork Chop

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2003
Made the recipe exactly as written, and had to cook it much longer than stated, and the "glaze" never did become a "glaze", it just stayed very watery. Big disappointment.

Orzo and Tomato Salad with Feta Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2003
This is a delicious recipe that has quickly become a favorite of my family. The only thing I change is I use half the oil, and for more flavor add two cloves of garlic, pressed. I have taken this salad to luncheons and everyone wants a copy of the recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Ick. Sorry, but a very odd concoction. No one here cared for it at all.

California Salad Bowl

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2003
Wow, we loved this salad! I would highly recommend trying it. I used fat free mayo and made the dressing in the food processor, and didn't have any problem with the dressing that some people mentioned. I used three hearts of Romaine and could have stood just a bit more dressing for that amount of salad, but it was a great change from traditional taco salad.

Kind of a strange mixture of ingredients. I probably won't make this again....no one in my family was too crazy about it.

Greek Salad I

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2003
This salad is WONDERFUL. I have made it once a week since first trying it. It is very much like what you get at a nice restaurant. The only change I made was adding two Tbsp. of red wine vinegar to the dressing, and more feta to the salad. We have it with crusty french bread for a light dinner.
