Ricotta Cheese Cookies

Delicious on the day they are baked, still good the following days, but not as good. Half the recipe is enough cookies for two people.

Very easy to make, and great result! Hubby loved the raw dough. We like white chocolate chips better though.

Funnel Cakes IV

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2012
Make sure you pour the batter thick enough, too thin won't be good either! Also, just so you know, i did a third of the recipe and it yielded for 3 fair sized funnel cakes. Plenty for two people! They're fried so it's not the lightest thing!

Very good, my husband liked it even better than the funnel cake recipe and he loved those... I find it pretty easy to dump the batter in the oil with two teaspoons: fill one up and with the second push that content off with the second spoon.

Chocolate Mousse Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
Wonderful recipe. I though I messed up but the result was still good. My mistake was to beat the heavy cream and the egg whites too much. It made them hard to integrate to the chocolate mixture. I'm sure the result would have been a lighter mousse had I not done that. It still turned out great though, so really it's a great recipe. Just be aware of that. Also, I followed someone else's advice to refrigerate in the fridge and then the freezer, and I'm glad I did. It was very refreshing. I did 4h in the fridge and 1h in the freezer; next time I'll try 30 min or 1h more in the freezer, I think it would be better.

Cheesy Quiche Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
GREAT! It looked weird when adding water (i guess it's because i'm not used to making pie crust!) and it was a bit sticky, but i just refrigerated it and added a little bit of flour later. I do agree that you need to stretch the recipe a little and add flour, butter, etc... if you want to fill your pan without having to roll the dough too thin. I personally doubled the recipe for two crusts and added 1 tbsp butter and 1/8cup flour, it was ok, but it could have taken more. Thx so much Joanna!
