Very Good! Brought this to a Christmas party and everyone wanted the recipe. Will definitely make again.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
We really enjoyed these rolls. They reminded me of another roll recipe I have called overnight buns. I baked these for 10 minutes at 350. I would make these again, they're fast and easy.

Buttery Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
My rolls didn't rise. I let my yeast proof and it seemed to be good. I let them sit for almost 2 hours before baking and they still didn't rise. They, therefore, came out very dense. But the flavour was good so I will try these again and use a new batch of yeast. Maybe that will help.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2008
This was pretty good. My picky kids ate every bite. I used the glaze someone here mentioned - 3 T. ketcup, 1 T. honey and 1/2 t. worcheshire sauce (my kids didn't like it without the glaze). Next time I will double it. Also, my meatloaf fell apart when I tried to cut it and I thought it could use a bit more flavour. Next time I will add some Tabasco sauce. Will make again.

Very Best Blueberry Cobbler!

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
Very good. I made some changes to make it similiar to a good blueberry pie recipe that I have. For the filling I used 3 cups of fresh blueberries, no vanilla extract, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, little less than 1/2 cup white sugar, 1 tbsp. flour and 1 tsp. melted butter (this could be left out). I made the topping the same as the recipe said. It took about 50 minutes on 375 to bake. It was very good. The topping is cake like but we found it a bit too thick for the filling so next time I may not use all the topping.

Cheesecake Supreme

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
I used this recipe as a base so I made several changes. It came out very nice. No cracks but mine came out a little flat and slightly brown. I only added 1/4 cup of sugar to the crumb mixture, next time I will leave the sugar out altogether as the base is sweet enough without it. I left out the 2 egg yolks because I didn't want it "eggy" (next time I will put them in). I put 1 1/2 cups of sugar instead of 1 3/4 and added 2 tsp. of vanilla. I used sour cream instead of whipping cream because I like the flavor of it in cheesecake. I think mine came out a little to brown because I baked it on 400 first and then turned down to 200 for 2 1/2 hours. Next time I will just back it on 200 for 3 hours and not preheat the oven.

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
This was pretty good but a little on the bland side. It could be spiced up a bit as others have mentioned. My picky 9 year old liked it so for that reason I would probably make it again. Next time I will not use wings but chicken that has a little more meat on it.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
This was good but didn't wow me. I cut the recipe in half and used 4 bananas and 2 eggs. It made 2 small loaves. I omitted the cinnamon because I don't like it in banana bread. It was one of the better banana bread recipes I have tried so I would probably make it again.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2006
Very Good! I only had 2 cups of bananas but I think it would have been better with the full 2 1/3 cups. I added cinnamon as suggested but didn't like it. The cinnamon just didn't taste right to me in banana bread. I did add about a tbsp. of white sugar because we like it to taste a little sweet. I baked it for 1 hour at 325 degrees and 10 minutes more at 300 degrees and it came out perfectly. I also covered it with tin foil the last 10 minutes so that it wouldn't get too dark. I have tried many banana bread recipes and this is one of the best.

Favorite Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2006
I served this at a BBQ this weekend and everybody raved about this chicken and what a great cook I am. I marinated it overnight, but I think all day would be enough. I was concerned that it would be too sweet but it wasn't. It was very tender and tasty.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: May 22, 2006
These pancakes were very good, fluffy and tasty. I added a tsp. of vanilla (really makes a difference) and decreased the salt to 1/2 tsp. I whipped the egg and added the milk and melted butter before adding to the dry ingredients. Stirred until just mixed and let it sit for about 15 minutes to rise which makes them fluffy. Next time I will add a bit more milk as the batter was very thick. I will replace my store box mix with this recipe.

Onion Rings

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2006
These were pretty good but a bit greasy. I made the batter too thick and they puffed up too much. Would probably make these again but make the batter according to the box directions.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2006
I cooked this at 325 degrees for about 2 hours and the chicken was very moist and flavorful. Next time I will leave out the cayenne pepper as it was abit too spicy for us.

Crispy Fish

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2006
This was quick and easy. We liked how crispy the coating was but we found it way too salty. You can really taste the seasoning salt as well as the cayenne. If I make this again, I would cut back on the seasoning salt and probably leave out the cayenne all together.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
Had to try this because of all the reviews and I have to say I was disappointed. The beef was very tender and good but we didn't like the gravy at all. Not near as good as what I normally make. Will stick to the way I usually do roast.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
Very good but didn't taste quite like a brownie or a cake. The frosting was very thick and hard to spread and I think it made it too sweet. Would probably make this again without the icing because it is so easy to make.

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
Didn't have a whole chicken so I used 4 chicken breasts and doubled all the spices. We thought this was just o.k. Didn't care for the taste of cayene pepper so would leave that out if I make again.

Easy Lasagna II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2006
Good. If I make again, I will add more sauce as it was abit dry, less ricotta cheese (I used ricotta instead of cottage cheese) and maybe some Italian seasoning and garlic.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2006
I don't understand all the high ratings for this recipe. We just finished this (or at this I did). My husband only ate a little, my 2 girls aged 7 and 4 didn't like it, and everyone asked me not to make it again.
