Lemon Pepper Green Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2013
I made the recipe exactly as it is, and it was great! I used the required amount of lemon pepper salt, and it was way too salty. I had an extra bag of frozen green beans on hand, so I added them to it and it made it a lot better. Instead of steaming, next time I'll just use steam in a bag beans, much easier. But great recipe overall, definitely will make again.

Chicken Tetrazzini I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2013
This was a great recipe. Very creamy and delicious! It was easy and quick to make. I used a roasted chicken you can get from the grocery stores and just shredded it for the recipe. I also used one can of cream of chicken soup and one can of cream of mushroom soup, put some panko on top, and put cheddar cheese on top during the last few minutes in the oven. This recipe is a good base, and you can do a lot to tweak it in your own way. Very good recipe!!

Elizabeth's Extreme Chocolate Lover's Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2012
This is an amazing cake! It is extremely rich and decadent. It is a little finnicky and takes longer than the recipe says (for me at least), but I get nothing but compliments when I make this. The extreme chocoholics of my family approve!

Parmesan Garlic Orzo

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
This recipe is really yummy and easy. I have made it with the garlic and without, and I like it both ways. Now that I have made it a few times I plan to switch it up a little and add veggies or even some shredded chicken to the orzo. Great recipe and very easy!

Kristen's Parmesan Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
I loved these! They turned out a lot better than I expected, I just put them on a cookie sheet lined with tin foil and they turned out great! The Parmesan really adds flavor, and I added garlic salt. Next time I may even add minced garlic. Would definitely recommend!

Ham Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
This was a great recipe for using leftover ham. It's very versatile too, any extra ingredients you have on hand you can toss in and it tastes great. I used the Swanson flavor boost pouches in the sauce, and fresh garlic. It turned out great. The ham I made wasn't that great, so it didn't taste the best, but the tetrazzini itself was really good. Chicken and turkey go great with tetrazzini too. Next time ill use those rather than ham. Altogether a great, easy recipe, I'll definitely make this again.

Seasoned Baked Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2013
This was a really good recipe! I liked it a lot. I just guesstimated amounts of all the ingredients, mine were a little oily, I probably used too much olive oil. I used all the spices, but less of the chili powder. I added some parsley, oregano, and thyme as well, I like the herby clover. These are really easy, I will definitely make them again and maybe switch up the spices for a different taste. You should definitely turn them at least once. Mine didn't turn out very crispy, maybe because of the oil, but they were very soft and delicious. I had to cook mine for an additional 10 minutes as well. Overall easy, delicious recipe.

Buttermilk Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2013
These were pretty good, I expected a little more after reading other reviews though. I took some of the other reviewers tips and added vanilla extract and topped the muffins with brown sugar before baking. Next time I might add maple extract or almond extract as other reviewers did, maybe even apples. Altogether a decent muffin recipe, good for breakfast on the go! I would definitely add the brown sugar on top, it adds sweetness to the muffins.

Easiest Oven Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2013
This was really good. I made one pan regularly and sprinkled garlic salt over the other pan, and the chicken with the garlic salt was a little better. Next time I make this I'll add some seasoning to the cracker crumbs or just sprinkle it over the chicken before putting it in the oven. Great recipe!

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
This ham was pretty good, I was disappointed that it wasn't as flavorful as some of the other reviews said. It was moist, but the brown sugar didn't add much. I used a 3 lb. ham with the 2 cups required in the recipe. I used a slow cooker liner, which I would definitely recommend for this recipe so your slow cooker isn't a mess afterwards.
