Carnation® Quiche Lorraine

This is scrumptious. Quiche will make a person fat real quick though, so being able to use lowfat evaporated milk (which I did) helps with that. Make sure to drain the grease before you put the onions in the bacon pan...Im sure you knew that already though.

Apple, Beet and Avocado Salad

This was good. I've never cooked raw beets before and boy do they taste just like canned!! Next time I'd use canned and save all that time. I didnt toast the walnuts either and they were still good. My boyfriend really liked it. Im on the fence...It was good, but I wouldnt make it again. Ok, maybe to impress someone because it was all red and pretty.

Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie

The first time I made this pie, the tin bent as I was taking it out of the oven and it fell "face" first onto the floor. It smelled so good that me and my friends picked at it anyways. Even my dirty kitchen floor could not stop this pie from being delicious!! I made it again the next day to fully realize it and it was heavenly. I put the nuts into the crumb topping and that was really good. You could put that crumb topping onto any kind of fruit pie and it would make a lovely top crust.

Pecan Tassies

Delicious, but watch out-they bubble all over the place-so don't fill the cups too high. Also I used 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1/2cup flour instead of all flour and it made the crusts sweet and melty-in-your-mouthy.

Filet with a Merlot Sauce

The sauce was very pretty but I practically got drunk off of it-it was so winey! I mean wine city!! I felt like I wasted my beautiful filets.

Angel Chicken Pasta

This looked good on paper but the sauce was too thick, extremely bland, and gooey in a bad way. The chicken came out nice and tender but that's just the nature of chicken. I can't believe so many people raved about it!!
