Flounder Mediterranean

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
I wanted to do a different fish than the old standards, and on paper this looks like a great recipe. There's a lot of strong flavors going on here. I made it exactly as directed and I think next time I will omit the kalamatas. The capers are enough zing. Otherwise it was excellent. I served it with asparagus and rise.

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
It was ok. I think the simplicity did this one in. I'm not quite sure what I would do with this one. Maybe I'm just not a huge golden mushroom soup person. The leftovers are still there. I served with egg noodles and that helped.

Creamy Chicken on Linguine

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
Incredible. I did do 1 1/2 sauce recipe and it was still a little much. I think the pasta would be drowning in sauce if you doubled it. I also added a little cornstarch to thicken it. I roasted 6 cloves of garlic for 20 minutes and smashed them and added them to the sauce. Great recipe.

Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic, and Feta

Wow! There is so much flavor to these, and healthy too!! My whole family enjoys them, and the husband asked for them again the next week (kids picked off the onions, but that's expected ;))

Basil Tomato Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2005
The sauce was great, but had cooked away too much by 40 minutes, remedied by adding some water and a bouillon cube. Still came out wonderful. I personally put the onions in with the sauce because I like them more tender. Kids loved it, so it's a keeper.

This comes out the way it should. Tender on the inside, crunchy outside. Thank you for the recipe!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
These were really yummy. I doubled the recipe and realized that halving the filling recipe is more than enough to fill the mushrooms.

Baked Brie and Buttercrisps

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
I'll be the first to rate it, and they came out great. I didn't have the chives, though. Still very good. You may want to do 2 8 0z wedges if it's going to be more than four or five people.

Honey Duck

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
It was pretty good. The duck came out good, but the flavoring wasn't there like I thought it was going to be. And pricking the skin to make it crispy didn't really work for me either.

Wow. One of the best recipes I've found on this site. Better than teriyaki I've tasted elsewhere, and easy.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Excellent recipe! It doesn't reach my grandmas fudge, but it gets pretty darn close, and when given as a Christmas present at work, disappeared fast.

Spaghetti Squash I

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
Ok for a vegetarian meal. I did have to add a lot of stuff to this, the squash has no taste (this was my first time making spaghetti squash). It also needs longer on the cooking time that was recommended.
