No Bake Cookies I

Reviewed: May 22, 2014
This is a great base recipe. Only thing I did different was creamy peanut butter AND I added 1 and 1/2 cups of roasted peanut halfs. I also sprinkled them with a little salt after putting them on wax paper before they set-up. Salty sweet and nutty! Loved them.

Cinnamon Swirl Bread for the Bread Machine

Reviewed: May 21, 2014
Loved this recipe. It took my dough 1 1/2 hours to rise and I thought maybe it still needed more time or maybe a little more yeast next time. And I didn't have 2 loaf pans so I just rolled the whole dough ball out into a large flat rectangle, spread about 1/2 cup a butter all over it and sprinkled the cinnamon/brown sugar mixture all over it (which I doubled without the nuts). Then I rolled it up. It was a huge log that fit in my 9x13 pan (seam side down). I just pinched the ends a little to help keep the filling in. It came out looking like a cinnamon bun when sliced. It was amazing! Next time I will add more yeast and maybe make a cinnamon bun icing to drizzle on each piece when served. Definitely will do again.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
This is a great recipe. I made my first batch of homemade biscuits with this recipe. 1 cup of milk was a little too much so I did have to add a little more flour during the kneading process cause the were too sticky. I made this a second time and added about 3/4 cup of milk instead and it was better. Recipe made 7 large biscuits for me. We pour chicken stew over them here in NC. Delish
