Fruit Dip II

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This was so good, even my kids liked it. I used about 1 cup of cool whip in the mix, and those that have had this same dip thought the cool whip made it creamier and said they like it better with it in there. Thanks for the recipe!!

Asiago Toasted Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
These were so good. I was sad when I realized I forgot the Asiago cheese at the store, and was not loading the kids back in the car to get it. So, I used kraft grated parm, a little bit of mozz, and added some red pepper flakes to the mix. I toasted one side of the bread first as others suggested then spread the mix on the other side and broiled them. Thanks for the recipe!!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

This was delicious, I've made it twice now, and my husband and I love it. Now, if we could just figure out how to make the sauce they put on these at PF Changs.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
Ok, let me start by saying I read the recipe wrong and thought it called for 3 cups of cheese, not three ounces (oh God) anyway I ended up putting 1 1/2 c. of colby jack, and used milk instead of water. They turned out wonderful, and not at all too cheesy!!!

Asian Chicken Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
This was a delicious, easy salad. I had it for lunch today. I subbed two cups of spinach for bok choy using only 1 cup of bok choy, added green peppers and left out the snow peas and water chestnuts as I was out. I also didnt want to waste the seasoning that came with the noodles so I mixed it with the melted butter and poured over the noodles. I will definately make this again!!!!

These were sooo good. I left out the pork. These tasted just like the singapore street noodles at PF changs which are my favorite!!! They would be good with green onions...

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2008
This recipe was awesome. I used green onions cut very thin instead of white onion. I also cut the sugar way down and left out the milk, only using buttermilk. I let the dressing sit seperately in the fridge, from the cabbage/onion mix. I mixed all it together an hour before serving and added 1/2 can of drained pineapple cut in small pieces. I didnt notice any runniness and everyone went for seconds and thirds.

Black Bottom Cupcakes I

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
Ok, it may just be me but these were awful. I followed the recipe exactly and it wasnt sweet enough or moist enough. My 3 year old actually spit it out. I've never claimed to be a baker, so I might have done something wrong....

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
I tried these a few months ago, and it was my first time making cinnamon rolls. They turned out great, everyone loved them!! They took me longer than 90 min, but it was probably because I'm not a baker. I also added more filling than called for.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
This was really great!!! I used fresh garlic instead of the powder and a mix of 1/2 reduced fat mayo and 1/2 reduced fat sour cream in place of all mayo. Even the kids liked it!! I did sprinkle with breadcrumbs and 1/4 c. cheddar and broiled for about 3 min to add some color. This one is a keeper!!! Thanks

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2007
I read the other reviews, and was thinking I would only be using about half of the milk called for, but I needed the full cup. I might even try with buttermilk next time. Mine didnt turn out big and fluffy (maybe I mixed the dough too long?) but they werent dense and they were very tasty. I will be making these again soon. Thanks for the recipe!!!

This was a great way to use up the glut of apricots I had. The only thing I did differently was add cinnamon to the mix instead of nutmeg. Thanks for the recipe!!
