Hungarian Flourless Hazelnut Cake

Thank you for this delicious recipe! It's an excellent birthday treat. The cake turned out moist, but I added rum anyway - it certainly didn't hurt! I also added rum and vanilla sugar to the whipped cream and raisins in the layers between the cake. It was a huge sucsess, and utterly thrilled my friends with wheat allergies.

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

I have made this several times for my friends who are allergic to wheat, and they were in heaven! Well, actually they hated me because they ate the whole cake in one sitting. I have made it for just about everyone in fact, and it is always a smash hit. I serve it with whipped cream, pecans, and strawberries or kiwi - it is way to rich to eat by itself.
