Green Bean Casserole I

I did not like this dish at all. Everyone tasted it but no one was impressed at my table and I followed the recipe exactly. I guess we are just those kind of people that really love the taste of fresh green beans. They are great all by themselves!

Easy Quiche

All these ingredients sounded really good, but we weren't impressed with the results. I would rather take the extra time and make a real quiche.

Curried Carrot Soup

I did not like this soup at all. I followed the recipe exactly as written. All that work! I have had this kind of soup at a friend's and it was delicious. I'll get her recipe instead.

Grilled Chicken Burgers

These were very tasty but a lot of prep. I cooked in an electric frying pan cause I ran out of fuel for bbq. Everyone enjoyed them. Made again recently and although they are a little work, they turned out fabulous! Will make these rather than buy them frozen!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Cashew Chicken with Water Chestnuts

This recipe sounded so good...I doubled it for dinner tonite. It was so salty that I could hardly eat it! If I ever make it again, I will use reduced sodium soy sauce and not double it. The chicken broth was 25% less sodium already. Even if I hadn't doubled the recipe, it still would have been salty.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

UPDATE: Tried again and used fresh grated parm but it did not melt. Best to use the powdered type instead. Still 5 stars for taste! VERY delicious! The chicken was moist and very flavourful. This is the best Garlic Parmesan Chicken recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Amazing Ribs

Really AMAZING! I added some boneless chops as well because I didn't have enough ribs and the boneless turned out kinda hard & dry (I think they were too lean). I used one bottle of Bulls Eye for chicken & ribs and added 1/4 c of oj to the bottle to get every last bit of sauce. Everyone raved and they were all eaten. Next time I will use ribs only.

Roasted New Red Potatoes

I followed the recipe exactly and my potatoes turned out mushy on the inside. Tasty, but a little disappointing. If I make again, I will use regular sized red potatoes and cut them in quarters.

Baked Salmon II

I chose this recipe because it looked easy and had lots of great reviews. After cooking it for dinner, I was very disappointed---it was oily, salty, lemony and way too much basil or was it parsley? I could hardly taste the 'salmon' at all. Thanks, but I think I'll pass.

Cream of Celery Soup

Fabulous! I used the tops and hearts of 2 bunches of celery and I blended the soup to make it creamy. Also used 1% milk to cut calories. I LOVED IT!

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

As with other comments, I used 2 cans of mushroom soup with 1/2 milk instead of the mayo. I mixed the stuffing with everything else instead of layering and I used crushed garlic croutons on top. Very tasty!

Orange Juice Chicken

I found the chicken very moist, but not very flavourful, although everyone liked it. Maybe using orange zest will help. Also, I think using cornstarch instead of flour will make the gravy "look" better. I will try again.

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

I found the chicken way too salty and I didn't even add the salt--glad I didn't. It wasn't crisp like I expected and generally kind of blah. I used skinless boneless breasts and baked for 40 mins. Perhaps if I used pieces with the skin on and cooked for 60 to 75 mins as indicated, maybe....(that's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 3 and maybe I'll try it again.)

Cherry Cheesecake Pie

Even though this is the exact same recipe as the other Cherry Cheesecake recipes, it is AWESOME! My 15 yr old son helped me whip this up. A very simple recipe that uses just a few ingredients and it is so very delicious! A definite keeper! Thanks!
