No Bake Cookies III

Best. Recipe. Ever!! My 10 year old daughter made these for my No-Bake-Loving husband. They turned out perfectly. The only adjustment we made was boiling an extra 30 seconds. It is difficult to judge when a rapid boil technically starts. Will make these over and over and over again. Thanks for the great recipe!

Michelle's Soft Sugar Cookies

Once cooked, these cookies had an AMAZING melt-in your mouth texture. But, like other reviewers, mine were nearly impossible to work with. I used the allrecipes serving calculator (above the ingredients list) to double the recipe. Then I made the recipe exactly as written. The dough was almost soupy. I double checked to make sure I hadn't left anything out or not added enough of something. I thought maybe it just needed to chill, so I left it in the refrigerator overnight. The next morning it was workable only if I sprayed my hands with olive oil before rolling the balls. Even then, a lot of the dough stuck to my hands. I currently have the dough in the freezer to see if that will help.

Simple BBQ Ribs

Wow! We have made these twice, following the directions completely. I boil the ribs for 45 minutes to an hour and bake for 1 - 1.5 hours. YUMMO!

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

I made this as written, minus the beer which I didn't have on hand. Since other reviewers said it wasn't needed, I left it out. It ended up having good flavor, but was extremely tough. It was actually hard to chew.

Best Brownies

My husband loves brownies and he gave these a 5 1/2 star rating! I made them exactly as written except that I added a few drops of milk and 2 Tbsp. peanut butter to the frosting. This will be our go-to brownie recipe from now on!

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Yum-azing!!! My husband took this to a work potluck and I got 6 phone calls for the recipe! It was a little spicy for our family, so when I make it for home, I use less hot sauce.
