Never made meatloaf before, but MY GOODNESS. This was perfect as is. My biggest complaint with ANY meatloaf is that its either too salty or to sweet, but this was a perfect!
I did something the combinded two peoples ideas: I lined the bottom of the pan with 2 slices of bread, then I used foil to line the entire pan, then I poked a few holes so the fat would drain through the holes and the bread would absorb, made cleanup easy. I also think I may add a few slices of bacon on top next time for just more yummy deliciousness!
