I've been on the very low calorie HCG Diet for over 2 weeks and have been finding new ways to cook food without adding fat, sugar or dairy - and, with it still being delicious. And even more important, I've lost 11 pounds so far!
After the first 2 days, I got real tired of bland, dry chicken breast and am constantly learning how to add flavor without sugar, oil or other fats. The diet allows only lean meats (100 grams of chicken breast or lean beef or veal) for lunch and dinner, accompanied with 2 cups of one type of vegetable, fruit (oranges are my fav) and a grissini bread stick.
I discovered I could add a good balsamic vinegar, fresh minced garlic (I use a jar of organic minced garlic), chili powder, pepper and basil and even taco sauce that doesn't have any sugar. I have never been able to eat all the food and am fully satisfied both with taste and volume. Sometimes I mix lean hamburger & the vegetable, such as onion or diced tomatoes and seasonings. Great way to lose weight
My favorite things to cook
Easy stuff like quesadillas made with flour tortillas, enchilada sauce in a jar (from Safeway), cheese and chicken (before my diet), were raved about at our parties.

I made my first Thanksgiving turkey last year. Turned out wonderful!
