Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
Yummo! I am never buying frozen biscuits again! I used one stick of softened butter instead of shortening and they were the best biscuits I have ever had. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe!

Chicken Pot Pie III

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
Love this recipe! Here is what I do: use the pillsbury crusts in the long red box in your grocery store fridge section (with the biscuits), I use the whole can of cream of celery and the whole can of cream of potato. Everything else I do the same. I just made this for the FIFTH time! This time I was lazy and used canned chicken and it was awesome!

Shrimp Scampi III

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Wow! This was my first time cooking with wine and I thought I had ruined the dish after I put the wine in. The smell was just not pleasant. So, I took a shrimp to try it before I served it and WOW OH WOW! It was delicious! Thank you for such a wonderful recipe! The entire meal was devoured!! This is a keeper!!

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
Yummo! I tweaked it a little. Used beef flavor rice a roni, mixed that with my cooked ground beef. Rolled them up and put sweet & sour sauce down the centers of the rolls and baked. Delicious! Thanks for a great recipe!

Sweet Green Bean Bundles

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
I've been making this for 3 years. Here are some hints: use the canned whole green beans, use only 5 beans per bundle and wrap with a 3rd strip of bacon. Cut up a stick of butter & scatter throughout the pan after the bundles are in. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and garlic (I use garlic powder). Cover & bake for 30. Uncover and bake an additional 15. Wonderful!

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
These are amazing. And really not hard to make at all. After I slice them, I place them in a buttered pan and place them in the fridge and then take them out the next morning...letting them sit for about 45 minutes before baking. It's just easier for me to make this in the evenings. Thank you for such a great recipe!!!

Simple Slow Cooker Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
Wonderful meatloaf! Tasted great & super easy to make. I used 2 pounds of ground beef instead of sausage & beef and it was out of this world. That is the only thing I changed. My husband even liked it AND ate leftovers! He doesn't care for meatloaf much, but he liked this one! I will be making this again & again! Thanks for submitting such a keeper!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
I made this last night and it was wonderful!! I followed the directions exactly and everything tasted great. SIDE NOTE - If you want extra gravy, then double the recipe. I made mashed potatos & there wasn't near enough gravy for the meat AND the potatos. Just sayin! Excellent recipe! Thanks!

Quick Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
Super easy recipe and tastes great too! My husband hates tuna and he even said it wasn't bad...which means he liked it! I put shredded cheddar on mine before I put it in the oven. Adds a little something. And I sprinkle in a little dill to the mixture. Yummy! Thanks for such a great recipe!!

Coconut Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2008
OUTSTANDING! This is a wonderful recipe! Absolutely delicious! Just a side note...I finished mine off by pouring a hot pineapple rum glaze into the hot cake pan as soon as I removed it from the oven. It was perfect! (you can contact me if you need the glaze recipe) Thanks again for a wonderful recipe and I will be making this again! I also told my cousin who is insane over coconut and forwarded this recipe on to her!!

Crab Stuffed Manicotti

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
This was a good recipe. The only thing I would change next time is replacing the alfredo sauce with regular spaghetti sauce. The ricotta and alfredo were just too much where a tomato sauce would have cut some of the richness from the ricotta cheese. Great recipe though! Thanks!

Traditional Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
This was a wonderful base for a recipe. I did make some changes such as leaving out the ketchup completely and using 1 pound of ground beef and making it into 4 patties instead of two. I combined flour, water, 1 beef bullion cube (crushed), and worchestire sauce to make the brown gravy. I made a lot more gravy than the recipe called for because I was also making mashed potatos! I made enough gravy to where it would come up half way on the patties. Just whisk the flour into a little water at a time. It was really good. I also used about a 1/2 sleeve of crushed Club crackers instead of bread crumbs. I always do. Gives it a richer flavor.
