Peanut Butter Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
I've been making a pie similar to this for about 10 years, but I think mine is even simpler. Crust is the same. Mine has peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar and Whipped topping (like cool whip). I will try this one and see if it is much different. I like using real whipping cream/

Squash Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
I have made a casserole almost like this for years. My recipe is from a popular restaurant chain. It uses half the amount of butter and fresh bread crumbs and the crumbs go inside. Putting the bread crumbs inside helps to absorb the extra moisture and retains the vitamins that could be lost by mashing the liquid out.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
This recipe is great, as is! The ONLY thing I do differently is that I cube the bread and perhaps use a bigger pan than stated. The only reason I cube the bread is that it makes the casserole easier to eat and serve. I have made this for many different group meetings and it is always a hit.

Cherry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
This recipe is wonderful. I never really liked chicken salad until I tasted this. I make it all the time and we are always sorry when it is gone. I have used plain old cooked chicken, purchased grilled chicken breast strips, and even leftover rotisserie chicken. When making it for others, several people always ask for the recipe.

Apricot Oatmeal Bars

My diabetic and non-diabetic family members liked these a lot. I decided to use sugar-free blackberry jam instead of the apricot. I made them a week ago and they are still good.

Chocolate Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2004
Oh my goodness! This is so icredible! My mother made something like this when I was growing up. I have been searching for this recipe for so long. I can't eat sweets very much, so I put this in the refrigerator after I made it. Every day I take it out and eat a spoonful. It is still great even though I made it several days ago. It is best when HOT out of the oven!
