Peanut Noodles

LOVE. Increase PB a bit, decrease soy a bit. Add garlic, and it should be perfect next time.

Pan Fried Daikon Cake

WAY too salty, but will try again with salt to taste because I can imagine it would be good if the salt was less.

Catherine's Pickled Blueberries

Amazing over cream cheese, brie or goat cheese with triscuits. I'm sure I'll find other ways to use it, too, since I love it SO much.

Dilled Garlic

delicious flavor, but garlic still comes out mushy in the middle. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a recipe where the garlic stays crisp.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
Great taste and not terrible for you! You really don't need to fat from the other cuts of pork; tenderloin worked great! I didn't taste the root beer, tho.

Pop's Dill Pickles

Amazing, perfect dill-pickle flavor. I did mine as slices and they're the BEST. I'll be making these every year!

Creamy Roasted Parsnip Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
EXCELLENT TASTE! Way too thick, though. I had to add almost 3 more cups of broth (I used half chicken broth, half vegetable stock) to get it to the consistency of a soup instead of a baby-foodish thickness. But that's fine, now I know that and I'll be making this regularly from now on! Bring on the CSA parsnips that I never knew what to do with until now!

Blueberry Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
This was delicious! Mine did not crisp up too well but probably bc I used light mayo and whole wheat pastry flour. Will try again with regular mayo to see if that makes the difference. It was still delicious - just more batter-like on top rather than cripy.

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
Very surprised at how yummy a zucchini desert could be! I halved the recipe (and used only 1/3 of the butter and sugar) and changed the flour to whole wheat pastry flour. STILL delicious and even a bit too sweet for my taste. I also had too much topping as some other reviewers said (hence the 4 stars not five). I like the idea of adding nuts to the topping and may try that next time.
