So yummy! I followed the directions exactly, other than seasoning the cube steaks before dredging in flour. The flavor of both the Chicken Fried Steaks and the gravy were right on for my family. I was hesitant to use the Tabasco in the batter, but I'm glad I did. It's not enough to add heat (my kids would not eat it if it were spicy), just flavor. I do think that the recipe takes quite a bit longer than 40 minutes, but I cooked 6 steaks, mashed potatoes, gravy and corn on the cob in about an hour and a half. This is an occasional indulgence for us, and I will definitely use this recipe again next time! Thanks Norah!!!

I don't typically like peanut butter cookies but at my hubby's request I gave this recipe a try. I added a bit extra flour and peanut butter after reading some of the reviews, oh and a couple tsp of vanilla extract. Didn't have crunchy peanut butter, but creamy worked well. The dough smelled so good, and even with the fear of consuming raw egg, I had to taste it. It was delicious and I knew these cookies would be a hit. I also rolled the dough balls in sugar before placing on the cookie sheet and then used a fork to make the criss-cross pattern (which my husband said was important). They turned out so good! I've eaten three and am trying hard not to eat any more tonight. I can't say that I don't like peanut butter cookies anymore after trying this recipe! Yummy!

Made these with corona and seasoned the batter with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic salt. So yummy! Reheated well in the microwave, still nice and crispy. Definitely a keeper!

Let me just say that I joined this site just to post a review for this recipe! These potatoes are amazing. Fairly easy and very tasty. I followed the suggestions of several other reviewers and added cream cheese (2 oz.), and unintentionally left out the milk, and my family loved them. I anticipate using this recipe often and passing it along to friends and family.
